NAME:           David V. Evans
BIRTHPLACE:  Newport, RI
EDUCATION:  Pennsylvania State University, Bachelor of Science  •  University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Medical Doctor

Dave is a Family Physician.  After he completed his medical training, he and his wife Suzanne, came to Madras to establish themselves in medical practice.  They were looking for a small community with cultural diversity and a wealth of outdoor activities.  Over the last seven years in Madras, he has been involved with the Boys and Girls Club Board and Jefferson County Youth Soccer.

NAME:          Margaret Kincaid
BIRTHPLACE: Pendleton, Oregon
EDUCATION:  Fort Hays State University, Masters in Physical Education

Margaret has been an educator for 21 years at all grade levels, kindergarten through college. Twelve of those years have been with the Jefferson County School District. Ms Kincaid brings 14 years of aquatic experience in the capacity of manager, aquatic director, water safety instructor, and swim coach for public, university and resort pools where she held a variety of certifications ranging from instructor for general water safety and adaptive swimming to chemical and water filtration systems. While at the university level she taught undergraduate level swimming, lifeguard, and water safety instructor courses along with water aerobics for senior citizens and heart rehabilitation patients. Margaret has been a resident of Madras for 13 years.

NAME:            Stephen Hillis, Chair
BIRTHPLACE: Hillsboro, Oregon
EDUCATION:  , Masters in Education from Pacific University

Stephen has lived in Madras since 1948. Stephen was in the army reserves and went to Pacific University. He taught in Iowa for 7 years and returned to Madras in 1974 to teach at the high school. Stephen retired in 2002 as a teacher at Madras High School. He is married to Sharon, has two daughters (Teryl Hair and Tonya Rochelle) and a step-son (Jeff Wise), and 7 grand children.  He served on the OEA Board for 18 years, the NEA Board for 6 years, NEA's Human and Civil Rights Committee for 5 years, am on the Oregon Department of Justice Consumer Advisory Council, Central Oregon Partnership to End Poverty Board, NEA/R Oregon board, the Central Oregon Leadership Council for the Oregon Community Foundation, and am on the board for Juniper Junction Community Council.
